Dear Coach;
I think non-attachment to others is only possible with non-attachment
to ego. And perhaps that is the most difficult task in the path to
higher being. When my abdominal muscles are burning during prop
workout, I practice indifference to bodily pain. Is this right
analogy?

Most Noble Joongho,

yes!
Trust the Breath!
Where there is Conscious Breathing,
there is no pain…
there might be EFFORT,
however,
when Conscious Breathing is brought into WHATEVER
we are ‘doing’
the Prana (life force) within the Breath
transforms
doingness
into
beingness…a magical, timeless Realm of Now.

i recall a fantastic image of Yogi Jesus looking with absolute,
utter compassion upon the face of the person nailing Him to the cross.
let me attempt to find it again…hold on…
nope, don’t know where that great image disappeared to..into the KU!

here, however, are a few that also touch the living CHrIst within ilg:

“Then came the soldiers, and break the legs of the first, and of the other
which was crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that
he was dead already, they broke not his legs; but one of the soldiers with a
spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And
he that saw it bare record, and his record is true; and he knoweth that he saith
true, that ye might believe. For these things were done, that the scripture
should be fulfilled: A bone of him shall not be broken.”
( John 19: 32 – 36 )

the body/mind reasoning behind NOT breaking Yogi Jesus’s bones is because bones represent the spiritual concentration of a Human Being. breaking a bone is a big thing and needs to be examined slowly and deeply during meditation and facilitated with ones’ Teacher to help uncover the spiritual aspects of the broken bone.

i have Taught you before on this subject matter in this forum.

This Way,
(as opposed to opening this paragraph with the standard, “Anyway”)…
Conscious Breathing relieves the burden of struggle
transmogrifies it into clean, pure effort…
merit-full effort!

Yogi Jesus BREATHED COMPASSION into the heart of he who was hammering His hand onto the Cross.

certainly, using Yogi Jesus as inspiration, we too can BREATHE COMPASSION into our difficult m(om)ents with self and others…during a hard training or Practice m(om)ent,
into a fiery relationship m(om)ent…such are the ideal and customized workshops for our Soul (Atmanic) Development!!!

you are Learning fast, Grasshopper!
