okay, if you live at an elevation where on the average only 87 days do NOT freeze at night? Trust me, 4th of July is HUGE…every mountain town that i have lived in, throws most of the cities cash coffers into this weekend…the 4th is great. it Honors the Mongrel Medicine that made the Soon-To-Become-Turtle-Island-White Man dis subservience to the Crown, and it means that we high altitude folk can relax into an absolute Nirvana of amazing cool, wildflower, and monsoon showered summer for two luscious months. at my age, Abbaji Ilg realizes that the only way i’m gonna keep up with my final week of training for next weekend’s Pagosa Duathlon while teaching, running a few businesses, and attempting to keep up with Dewa while vying for the podium for the Nation’s Best Partner, New Daddy, and Patriotic Supporter of the most Creative, Energetic Country in the World is…yup, SUNRIDER Herb’s VEROS and KOREAN WHITE GINSENG…trust me guys; this dynamic duo is the BOMB for the ultimate energy fix. Lady Warriors? Check with me and Trish before bringing Korean White Ginseng into your energy arsenal…and for Veros, women use Bella.

let’s take a closer look at Rinpoche Dewa…the obvious degree of mental focus and concentration displayed by Dewa is known as “ekagraha” in yoga and is the fourth of five mental states that you and i inhabit. if we can concentrate like this in a yoga pose, a strength training asana, a cardio workout, during zen, pranayama, during brushing our teeth or washing the dishes or opening a door? we’d all be Enlightened in a few months!

an example of why i need Veros and Korean White Ginseng: after climbing 10 pitches of 5.7-5.10+, i taught a HP PROP WORKOUT Class, woke up rode my mountain bike for 2 hours and 2,500′ of climbing to 9,500′ on 4 hours of sleep, did office and family and solo svadhaya/asana/pranayama practice, then woke up to get my Clan ready with local friends for a bike commute to historic downtown Flagstaff for the 4th of July Parade…yes, 21 month-old Dewachen uses a helmet!

…earlier today at the 4th of July Parade; i chose to put a Sepia tone to this shot of Dewa clapping to Hopi Drummers with a balloon in Her hand because each year i spend in the mountains during small town Parades just re-instills within me the confidence i have in the importance of living a simple life, a high-altitude life, and a small-town life…then again, that’s just me…

…oh sure, Dewa’s got Game…in fact, She has soooo much Game that it’s hard to tell when to ‘force’ Her to take a nap…here She is, surrounded by Her beloved balls before we attempt to put Her down so we can enjoy a BBQ with friends later, which we did and brought an amazing Loving Light to our 4th…
