Road trip finally to the south! I’m asked to present Yoga/Meditation for the Navajo Nation Breastfeeding Coalition at the stunning resort of Tamaya on the indigenous homeland of the Tamayame people. Nestled on 550 acres of the Native American Santa Ana Pueblo beneath the Sandia Mountains and on the west bank of the Rio Grande River. Putting together a 3-Day Training Camp for Dewa’s Bolder Boulder 10k prep, I get to showcase and share with her one of my top tier ‘secret trails’ – a gully spur off the east portal of the Sandia Crest Trail. Her sacred happiness hits max as “The Horse” intuitively senses the vortex within these ancient lands upon which some of the earliest human’s lived (research, “Sandia Man”). We close the Camp and Vlog with a SkiMo up Tesque Peak (12,000′) using the resplendent ski slopes of Ski Santa Fe.
