• Due to full time Trailwork on the new Skyraider Trail (it’s DONE!), i am off the back for delivering Prizes for 2/3 Race Weekend; my intent is to tidy that up this week.
• All races (MTB, 5k Trail Race, and 11k Adventure Peak Race) are FREE! • All Start/Finish times taken at the Stone Monument in Schneider Park (northwest of 9th Street Bridge/Roosa Ave intersection). Must be touching the Stone Monument to Start and Finish.
• All Registered Racers must abide by current Covid-19 policies (social distancing, face covering pulled up when passing or with another trail user less than 6′ apart).
• All Registered Racers must send me an email ( Steve@WholisticFitness.com ) at least 24 hours before your Intended Race Start Time(s) to qualify for an Official Result/possible Award.

MTB 10k – Friday and/or Saturday (if racing both days; send me your fastest time) by 6p Saturday
5K Run – Saturday. Send result by 6p

MTB 10k Course Description – 2 laps of Ella Vita uphill and Hogsfoot singletrack!
Start your watch while touching the Stone Monument Schneider Park and mount up!
Right (north) on Roosa Ave.
Sharp left (west) onto Avenida Del Sol.
Straight (west) onto Ella Vita Court.
Cross footbridge; right (north) at end of connector uphill on double track toward Ella Vita Trail.
Right onto Ella Vita singletrack uphill grind; be aware of descending trail users!
Top out Ella Vita; Left (west) onto Browns Ridge towards Hogsback.
Veer Left (south) at Hogsback/Hogsfoot Trail Signage; Hogsfoot all the way to the steep exit nose
which is at the south end of the Old Landfill.
Sharp Right (south) onto Old Landfill Road.
After 300 meters sniff out the top of the Pedestrian Path intersecting Old Landfill Road on your left (east) marked by a line of boulders.
Drop like a brick to where the footbridge connector intersects Pedestrian Path and use your momentum to
begin LAP 2 of the Ella Vita uphill to Hogsfoot…
once reaching again where the footbridge connector intersects Pedestrian Path, take the footbridge connector
back onto the paved Ella Vita Ct to Avenida del Sol,
Right (south) onto Roosa Ave (careful of traffic!)
to dismount and tag the Stone Monument and record your Finish Time!
5k Runner Course Description – 1 lap of Ella Vita uphill and Hogsfoot singletrack!

11k Adventure Race Course Description – 2 laps of Hogsback with a lollipop around Englharts/Hidden Valley!
Start your watch while touching the Stone Monument Schneider Park..
Right (north) on Roosa Ave.
Sharp left (west) onto Avenida Del Sol.
Straight (west) onto Ella Vita Court.
Cross footbridge; left (west) at end of connector uphill onto graveled Pedestrian Path
Grind uphill grind on Ped Path toward and then onto Old Landfill Road.
Left (south) downhill on Old Landfill Road for only about 100 meters; searching steep hillside on your right for a way
up to and through the old Homeless Area (now a kickass BMX/MTB DIY jump area!)
Continue noodling uphill eventually finding a singletrack leading toward then straight UP the South Rib of Hogsback; take it to the
ridge top, overcoming a small rock strata band near the exit; once on the ridge of Hogsback, dance uphill (north) toward Her true Summit.
Summit #1 of Hogsback! head down Standard East Face, hopping left (north) onto the NE Rib of Hogsback which spills you onto
8 Bells Trail.
Left (north) on Bells intersect of Perins Gulch Trail; go Right (east) downhill toward Leyden TH but veer left (north)
before reaching Leyden TH onto and up Ned’s Hill.
Shortly past the Helicopter Pad, look for Trail Signage – take a RIGHT (northeast) onto ENGLEHARTS Trail.
Follow and flow on Engleharts ALL THE WAY to Hidden Valley TH; blast past the TH keeping onto Hidden Valley singletrack.
Up the Hidden Valley climb then soar down Ned’s Hill to the bottom.
Veer right (west) back up Perins Gulch Trail, passing 8 Bells on your left.
Before a footbridge on your left leading up Perins Gulch; take the right and head northwest before crossing a footbridge
which soon delivers you to an abrupt uphill singletrack. This is Skid Ridge. Take it.
Fight your way up Skid eventually skipping past Forest Service signage warning you that Perins Peak Wilderness is closed.
Scoot along south, tip toeing a majestic ridge climb toward a not so majestic full front assault up the West Face of Hogsback.
Hogsback Summit #2!
Descend South Ridge (you clambered up this a hour or so ago) to descend the South Rib
which you also climbed to reverse your way back to Start/Finish as fast as you can!
tag the Stone Monument and record your Finish Time!
