been a helluva day after a long Kali Yuga infused couple of decades as an old daddy of an amazing Rinpoche born on, yeah:
9/11…. 2007
last night, Dewa tested me cryptically about if Puggy (my dad, RIP) had any heart issues…
L-R: Puggy my dad (RIP), Feeble ilg at age 48, Dewachen Catherine Ilg at uh, just being born onto this Plane(t), and Marjorie Catherine Ilg (RIP)…
ilg shared with Dewa how my dad inherited his total lack of physical touch type of love from his parents who were both hard line German alcoholics. Puggy started drinking hard liquor by 12 and never stopped until Marge (my mom) gave Puggy an ultimatum while ilg was probably a junior at Fairview HS in Boulder, Colorado; “It’s either me, or the booze.”
Puggy – to his credit – stopped drinking alchohol to my knowledge from that fate-filled day forward. yet?
backstory: Puggy also began smoking non filtered cigarettes when he was 13… chain smoking alcoholic…that’s my Dad (much more to be revealed in my next book…stay tuned). Puggy endured several heart attacks while working 70 hours/week at Walmart… he would confess such terrifying moments to me only if I swore not to tell Yo (Puggy’s pet name for his wife of over 5 decades).
yet, there was no genetic link to a heart condition from my side of the family to Dewa.
but there was a heart murmur thing with Dewa’s Granddad from her mom’s side of the family…
so, like any good Conscious Daddy of a kid going through a super hard day?
literally and mentally ran Dewa’s Blessed Mantra up our first summit; Hogsback
then video called Dewa from the preciously svelte shale summit which she and ilg know so well…
could tell Dewa was alone and crying in her dorm room 1,400 miles away…

not easy shit… steeper than the renown in your face gradient guarding Hogsback’s summit.
