pic; selfie at the famed “Gudys Rest” on the CT….over my shoulders i the Junction Creek (JC) drainage.
160/Lightner/Dry Fork/Hoffeins/CT/JC…i like this direction because from RiverPad it’s about 70-minutes of relatively gradual climbing. wanted to keep my HR steady and moderate and pretty much Mission C(om)pleted. As the Captain of the premier childhood fort of the entire JC Drainage? i cannot help but smile as the decades roll by since me and my wolf, Apache, were kings of this precious domain! its the Blessed gift of an incarnation to grow up in the JC drainage and it’s a gift that keeps on giving. Oh, the name of my Fort? Fort Horny Toad.
