An honest realization must precede the evident answer to ‘preventing disasters’ on Chomolungma (aka; Mt. Everest). No one that uses supplemental oxygen on a peak actually climbs that peak. Using oxygen falsely ‘lowers’ the elevation and subjective dangers of the natural peak to the fitness capacity of the perpetrator…errr, ‘climber.’

this recent Paleolithic sensationalism which is based on consuming the often toxic flesh (in both spiritual and physical aspects) of today’s animals (ala Cordain) to mimic the composition of the “evolutionary diet” is a bad joke at best. There are so many unAwakened flaws in this approach, that I could write a fetching, sensationalistic (and probably best-selling) book on the imbecilic basis of attempting to convince mainstream Americans that they can and should eat anciently.

i took this pic from about mile 7.5 up our 10 mile dirt road climb on our road bike during the Tuesday Night World’s Ride this evening here in Durango…a definite A-list of the local pro’s…i didn’t finish last…second to last, but not last! that little green blob in the center of this pic is the Animas River Valley…that is how high up we climb on this 3,000′ climb before shaking our molars out on the washboard descent and then roaring back to town at 23mph!
