Also known to us Northern Tribal Warriors as, “The Full Crust Moon” now radiant in Father Sky – is a not only a surging of spring energy, it also marks the beginning of at least one month of fantastic ‘crust skiing’ whereupon we nordic skaters can glide endlessly at mach speeds across a frozen canvas of withering snows…each undulation of Mother Earth’s hide creates BMX type of rolls and jumps! What SACRED FUN! Ilg so pities the sport-specific athletes who remain numb to the ever dancing glow of wholistic sport endeavor! Dewachen, seated to Buddha’s (see Teaching below) right, beat me to the discovery of the First Dandy-lion of spring! No ONE has EVER beaten me to finding the first Dandy of spring…until now! With forecasted temps in nearing 60 degree’s this week up here at 6,512′, the locals are feeling like ponies bucking in their stalls.
