Beyond the clatter of my preciously busy hometown of Durango, up high among vanilla-coated pines and naked aspens there is arising another, albeit softer, clatter. The sound is from ‘sport snowshoes’ dancing across wintery landscapes like the mystical hooves of Santa’s reindeer…
Less than a month ago…the Plastic Surgeon said it would require several weeks of dubious recovery to see if Dewa’s lip and mouth would structurally heal correctly after her sledding incident……within one week of WF Nutrition? Dewa’s lip and mouth self healed at Godspeed (aka; The Speed of Enlightenment). we crushed up the MAP Amino Acids for her, she suckled at SUNRIDER’s Sunbars, and we doused her lip/mouth and skull with the Sacred Water of Asea…
…and today…even with significant psycho/spiritual trauma?

Elke Brutsaert is a Mountain Bike Downhill Superstar from the Day…she now travels internationally with a pro team as “Head Mom” taking world-class care in her collegiate rider’s care, skills, and recovery (she is a renown massage ‘artist’). Ilg has had the honor of ripping some sweet San Juan singletrack with this Diva of the Dirt and, all ilg can do is blink with awe at her (still) cherry command of speed over seemingly impossibly dangerous descents. Last Saturday; in the start gate of a 10k freestyle…my head is down, mula bandha engaged, the start gate is just below my knee chakras, my mind with my breath, my Blessed Mala’s dangle like a door ringer for Hanuman to bring His Strength and Endurance and Loving Insight into my heart….sorry, however, there is no Higher Yoga Mat than the start gate of a nordic ski race…sing kirtans and do asana to trance beats all you want, however, to find your Highest Self? leave it to nordic ski racing to really lay your spiritual bones to the fire of tapas!
