runs into my open arms, she screams,
my personal goal this Yogi Jesus Birthday was to spend every m(om)ent of it within reach of my two girls embrace instead of running out and training, computer work, etc..for an Outdoor Athlete like ilg? still a tall order, yet must say, such d(om)esticated days fuel the Soul in ways unparticular to my gunic nature which is Go(o)d for me…
How Blessed C(om)e the inner rewards to the families who do what it takes to get out and do?
so, this morning, Durango’s entire scholastic and business systems were put on Pause as my friend, Jake Turner’s vision of a 7-mile long Human Chain running the length of the precious Animas River Trail attempted to manifest…i laced on my inline skates, picked up a cowbell and a camera and met my girls along with 8,000 other Durangatangs who gathered along the sinewy riparian paradise known as the Animas River Trail to honor all of the Trail’s amazing volunteers who helped make it happen…
9:42 am: when ilg runs? the simplest, most fragile of things open my heart, filet it wide open, and my spirit just soars into Father Sky…what IS IT about running feet massaging Mother Earth that shakes our Chakra’s so?! who CARES about health, longevity, fitness? to be able to run along the treasured forested paths is ENOUGH by itself! ilg hasn’t been running through decades because i reckon it might tack on a few more years to my incarnation…ilg runs because running is Pilgrimage, it’s more than the Seat of my Soul, it’s the Karmic SWEAT OF MY SOUL!
Unless you witnessed my Beloved through her pregnancy 5 years ago, one might easily pass off my Teachings as something “too athletic” or someother non-sense…just look at how Joy used her unswerving WF Devotion and not overcame medically ascribed “infertility” to conceive during my “Brahmacharaya” (celibacy practice), yet also transformed into Ganesha (the Elephant Goddess of Nurturing and Protection) in order to provide such an immense inner oceanic love station for Dewachen’s w(om)b time…
5 years in the flash of thunder…wow…
ilg doesn’t know if this will help you or any other Parent out there, yet, i’m gonna offer you the same words i offered Joy tonight as she was in tears about Dewa’s tantrums…i wanna go on record however, even with over 3 decades of deep, wholistic coaching of hundreds of families…when it c(om)es to raising Chi-ldren? it’s like fishing in a dry gulch; it’s best to give up all your grand plans and expectations, and just Practice being present and grateful for the ride…
