…feeble ilg is STOKED to be Durango’s highest-placing finisher in 4 hours and 57 minutes; 6th in AG, 29th OA (out of 170! Soloists). yet, ilg is even MORE Stoked about how GREAT my Students did:
then, i worked on my Mt. Taylor Winter Quadrathlon transitions at Chapman this morning; run into ski, ski into snowshoes, and reversing them for Saturday…itching to Toe The Start Line of my most Sacred Hurt of all! got my most complicated transition (snowshoe into ski) down to 1’22″…
my 3rd Annual and NOW a National Qualifying Snowshoe Race for the entire 4-Corner Region; The Winter Warrior 10k proved another ripe plum picked mid-winter among a full throttle winter storm!
in some circumstances, an unpacked Course is safer in snow event situations than a packed powder Course.
HP Yogi Rob Trudeaux took all warrior scalps in the 2012 Men’s 10k Open, going back and forth with marathoner Pete Mech until Last Gasp Hill! Yogi RT covered the course in new record time: 56:59. he graciously answered 3 questions before his defense of his Title less than 48 hours before the Start Gun goes…here is what he said:
